You know summertime has arrived when you start eating watermelon! This knit dishcloth design is a picture of a slice of watermelon. It is in profile and shows several seeds in the center of the slice. It is an “outline” design, meaning it looks as though it has been drawn on the cloth.
The design is symmetrical so no adjustments need to be made for lefty knitters.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.
